I missed Carla and I don't know what to do. She's going to work at another school. I want to write a letter but don't know what to write. Can you help?

Guess what? I've been invited to...

a party! How cool is that? I haven't been to one in 3 years because at the last one I ended up sitting on the birthday cake (not my fault!) so nobody dared invite me again.
But since I started seeing Carla I think I've started to make friends and I've got invited to this party.
What do you do at parties?
What should I get the birthday girl? Carla said to buy something from the heart but what?
